Why Trees Matter
“Why Trees Matter” is for all those interested in Ohio’s community forests: street tree commissions, mayors, economic development and resource managers, utility companies, nurserymen and landscapers and all citizens of Ohio interested in the resource of trees in our urban and suburban areas.
Join us October 15th for the 3rd Annual Why Trees Matter Forum. Discover the social, economic, and environmental impact of trees in your community. Keynote speaker, Dr. Kathleen L. Wolf is a Research Social Scientist at the College of Forest Resources, University of Washington. She does research, based on environmental psychology, to better understand the human dimensions of urban forestry and urban ecosystems. Kathy's professional mission is to discover, understand and communicate human behavior and benefits, as people experience nature in urban settings.
